An Ipad Sleeve and a New Look

So what do you think of the new look? I think it was a long overdue update. We needed a little pop of color around here.

The header and the social network buttons were made with some snapshots of my latest creation:

I got an iPad for Christmas and one of those iPad keyboards too. It's going to be so great to be able to bring it to school to take notes with. Okay, that and surf the web/listen to Pandora of course. I think I was just as excited to have a new device to make a sleeve for as I was to receive the actual gift.

The iPad fits into the keyboard when you're not using it and acts as a case in itself. Find the keyboard here, if you're interested.

So..I made a sleeve that would fit both the tablet and the keyboard. Now I can just pop it in my bag and not worry about anything getting scratched.

I just love the combination of the bright patchwork and the neutral osnaburg.

In case you're wondering about what fabrics I used, I have them linked below. Most of them are Anna Maria Horner's beautiful designs.

Hope you're enjoying your weekend!
